What is your return policy?

Returns Shipping

You may return any item within 10 days of the purchase date with a return authorization number only if it meets the following criteria:

• The item was unopened and returned in its original condition, or the item was damaged.
• All items must be returned in their original packaging. All authorized returns will be given a full refund minus the shipping charges and a 15% restocking fee. If the product was damaged we will send out a replacement once we receive the damaged product in our office and there will be no restocking fee or shipping charge.
• If an order is placed, and the package is refused by the customer, we reserve the right to charge the customer for shipping and a 15% restocking fee.

To obtain an authorization number please telephone our office at 510-387-2604 and a customer service representative will be happy to assist you.

How safe is it for me to send my credit card details to you via the Internet?

New Islamic Directions employs PayPal to handle our e-commerce security. Using only the most state-of-the-art Net security systems, they handle our private communications. Insha’Allah, your credit card details will be safely transmitted and will not be viewed by any third party. You can also fax your credit card information to us at +1.510.315.3035 (fax number).

All orders usually ship from California within 24 ours via USPS Priority Shipping, unless otherwise specified. International orders are usually shipped via the United States Post Office.

Are there any countries that you do not normally ship to?

Currently, we are unable to ship online orders to the following countries: Belarus, Indonesia, Liberia, Pakistan, Nigeria, and Romania. If you would like us to ship to any of these countries, please fax us your order with all details. InshaAllah we will reply back within 1 business day with pertinent information.

I live in outside North America. Are your books and CD’s available here?

Products

Probably not. Some of our books and CD’s maybe available in your locale, but probably not. We have affordable shipping options for final destinations outside of the United States. View our website at this time, or the links for retail establishments within the USA.

I would like to pay for my order through bank (wire) transfer. What are your bank details?

Payment

Please add $15.00 to any wire transfer that you send us. Our bank charges us this amount to receive any incoming wire transfer. $15.00 should be added to your TOTAL amount due. If paying by international bank money transfer, please contact us for our bank account information.

What format are your DVDs in?

DVDs are in Region 1 Encoding (North America).

I purchased some of your lecture CD’s, but they seem defective or are bad quality. What should I do?

Do you ship to addresses outside the USA?

Shipping

Yes! We ship to most countries. To calculate your shipping & handling charges, add items to your shopping cart (as normal), and when you check-out, indicate in the Ship To section your country’s information. You will be given the shipping & handling charges before confirming your order. There are some countries which we do not normally ship to. If your country is not listed, please email, or fax your order with payment information to us.

Please note: New Islamic Directions cannot be held responsible for any import fees, customs fees, import taxes, or other types of charges which a recipient may incur, who is receiving products outside of the United States. This may be either through a private courier service or through your local postal system.

Do I have to create an account to purchase items from New Islamic Directions?

Membership

No, you don’t actually have to create an account on our site to purchase items. You can simply add items to your shopping cart and when you’re ready to purchase, click the checkout button and you’ll be asked to enter your payment and shipping information on the secure PayPal website.

However, becoming a member of the site will ensure that we can communicate better with you about your purchases with us. We recommend you create a profile, it’s easy.
